2.5” Tank Lift w/ Ignition and Coil Relocation

Appealing aesthetics can be so much more than a flashy paint job or chromed out accessories. In fact, one of the most visually striking improvements, in my opinion, to be made to your Forty-Eight is cleaning up the front-end. By lifting the tank, relocating the coil and ignition, and tucking some wires between the tank and frame this bike arguably looks like a different bike altogether.

That’s a heavy statement to make for a kit from Kinetic Motorcycles that fits into a Ziplock bag.... granted, a lot of the work here isn’t installation of the kit itself but rather the tedious job of hiding and moving wires around. However, once you're are done...my goodness put your bike next to a stock Forty-Eight and tell me it doesn’t look amazing!

The team at Kinetic Motorcycles couldn’t have made it any easier for you. Included with this kit are step by step instructions that make it darn near impossible to screw up. They also include photos on the back of the instructions sheet to help further guide you.

Any deviations from the Kinetic instructions that you see me make in this video are NOT necessary and were done with other future modifications in mind. Follow the Kinetic instructions verbatim and you will be up and running in no time. It took me about 2 hours overall :)
