Handlebar Install and Internal Wiring

Handlebars....arguably one of the most iconic aspects of a motorcycle and only second to the sound. The handlebar "scene" has developed over time into such a massive and diverse market. Styles, manufacturers, applications...there are so many variables in the handlebar selections these days, which in turn has created the opportunity for some really awesome looking, and performing, handlebar setups.

For me, it's all about comfort and maneuverability. This isn’t a “show bike” (for the most part 😛) that will be trailered everywhere it goes. I am riding this bike to events, in my day-to-day life as well as on road-trip adventures all across this country (fingers crossed!). Therefore, not only do I want the bars to look great, but most importantly they need to function in a way that allows me to crank out hundreds of miles in a day in comfort.

Insert Road6 Customs 10” rise handlebars. This is only one of two repeat parts from the first ‘48 build I did back in 2016/2017. I loved them so much that I just had to go back...that should say enough in itself about these bars. They look great, fit perfectly, and they rise just high enough for the look I want but don’t go above my shoulders so blood flow to my hands isn’t compromised.
