Screaming Banshee Horn!

Writer: TylerTyler

If there is one sound that we could argue nearly every person operating a motor vehicle recognizes...it’s the horn.

A lot will argue (at one time I did, too!) that a loud exhaust allows you to be heard, and while factually that may be true it doesn’t necessarily equate to any sort of safety increase or directional location for other drivers on the road. In fact, a lot of drivers may hear a loud exhaust and panic or not recognize where it’s coming from. When we hear a horn, we tend to slow down, look around and become hyper-aware of our surroundings.

That being said, a horn modification for my machine was on the top of my to-do list. I did the research because not only did I want a loud horn but I wanted something that sounded like a horn. I also wanted something that wasn’t the size of a watermelon sticking off the side of my frame! I landed on the mini-banshee horn from www.screaming-banshee.com and could not be happier! The ease of installation, use of factory wiring, and aesthetics are incredible. Check out the video below to see for yourself!

*Disclaimer: I am in no way suggesting that adding a horn is going to lessen your likelihood of an accident or increase your safety. Practice safe riding and follow all local roadway laws and posted signs. The point here is that a louder than factory horn is easier for other people on the road to hear and recognize compared to a loud exhaust or stock horn*
